Jal Sevak Samman Awards’ 2024- Jal Sevak Samman is an initiative, undertaken by Electrosteel
Castings Ltd., to felicitate those who have carried out exemplary work in the water space and
impacted life for a better future. The Jal Sevak Samman Awards aim to recognize and honour
outstanding contributions to the water space in India. Through this annual award function, exemplary
initiatives like groundwater augmentation, rainwater harvesting, improved water accessibility, water
use efficiency, recycling, awareness creation, etc. are acknowledged.
Nomination Process:
Who Can Nominate?
Individuals can nominate themselves for the "Individual’s Initiative category."
Organizations and institutions can be nominated by:

•  Government Organizations
•  Non-Government Organizations
•  Non-Profit Organizations
•  Self-funded Organizations

Terms and Conditions: This comprehensive selection and nomination process ensures transparency,
fairness, and recognition of exemplary efforts towards water sustainability.

•  By opting to utilize the Jal Sevak Samman platform, including its website and services(collectively referred to as "the Service"), users agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined herein.
•  Electrosteel reserves the prerogative to revise the terms, conditions, and functionalities of theService without prior notification to its registered users and subscribers. Any such modifications will be duly posted online.
•  Furthermore, Electrosteel retains the authority to modify, suspend, or terminate any aspect ofthe Service at its discretion, including but not limited to the availability of features, databases, or content. Electrosteel may also institute limitations on specific features or services and restrict user access to certain parts or the entirety of the Service, with or without notice, and without incurring any liability.

Eligibility:
Open to all Indian entities and individuals from 9 to 99 years.
Selection Process: All applications received for the Jal Sevak Samman Awards 2024 will undergo
scrutiny by a Screening Committee. Shortlisted applications will be reviewed by the Jury Committee,
which comprises stakeholders, directors, and important members of the planning committee.

•  Application: Submit a nomination form detailing your water initiative or project.
•  Screening: A screening committee will review all applications and shortlist those meeting the criteria.
•  Jury Evaluation: A carefully selected jury will evaluate shortlisted entries and select winners in each category.

Application Requirements:

•  Location of the project.
•  Number of people benefiting from the project.
•  Project timeframe (start and end dates).
•  Whether the project is self-funded or externally funded.
•  A brief description of the project, including its activities and positive impact. (Local municipality endorsement is preferred.)

A brief description of the work, including sustainable activities for public good, endorsed by the local municipality, should be included.

Announcement of Winners: The names of the winners will be announced during the Jal Sevak
Samman Awards ceremony on June 23, 2024.
